Leading the way

Reflecting its status as a modern, thriving city of innovation and regeneration Cardiff is the first area in the UK to get switched-on. It all started in November 2006.

What will happen?

A small number of people in the Cardiff area had phone services upgraded to the new network in November 2006 with a number of people in Cardiff due to be switched-on in 2008.

In the near future, people in the Cardiff area will start to experience some of the advantages the new network has to offer.
